Holy sh*t I love to watch garbage.
Hand me a napkin, cos this trash is part of a trilogy and ya girls hungry.
The husband is an A grade piece of sh*t, Who doesn’t deserve the queen that is Rue McClanahan. -
Review by Tess ★★★
Some days you need 90s TV movies. All the better if Rue McClanahan is the lead. Her husband was an loser tho and that’s the T.

What a wild episode of Golden Girls.

This movie has early 90’s cooties all over it.

The US should have invaded the set of this movie at the same time as Operation Desert Storm in order to spare the world from the menace of this godawful, selfish, pathetic white bread family. Not even Rue McClanahan's tenure on Golden Girls should've spare her from that retribution.
Proof that the early 90s were as horrifying as I remember, and not just because I was in middle school at the time.

Rue McClanahan stars in this Lifetime-lite movie about a woman in her ‘50s who, after getting married again late in life, discovers she’s pregnant. Bless your heart, Rue, but all the Barbara Streisand filters in the world don’t make you look not 60 in this one.
Aside from Rue’s story with her new husband and reluctant father to be Ted Shackleford (kind of a distant sh*thead and a heavy downgrade from OG HUBBY Patrick Duffy), the movie also shoehorns in plots involving:
A pregnant former nun daughter;
A free-spirited multi divorced daughter who falls in love with a cop;
A semi deadbeat single dad son who plans to escape with his children to Canada;
And an arrogant “sexy” son who… -

We watched "Children of the Bride" and thought how much worse could it get? Well, at least two of the actors from the first one abandoned ship and that ought to clue you in. There's a third one. I fear it.

A terrible movie about a dysfunctional family of inept people who want to blame their problems on other people. *sigh*
However, the Bridget and Mary Jo Rifftrax had us laughing loudly multiple times. I rate the Rifftrax 4 stars.

Baby of the Bride is the sequel to Children of the Baby. This was the first of the trilogy of films that as I ever saw and loved. Having not seen it in a few years, and finally watching Children of the Bride, I can say it’s not as strong as it’s predecessor but it is still incredibly enjoyable and very solid.
The cast is back with the exception of two cast members. Patrick Duffy has been recast with Ted Shackleford. It’s pretty funny because Patrick Duffy and Ted Shackelford played TV brothers. Ted Shackelford played Greg Ewing on Knots Landing while Patrick Duffy played his brother Bobby Ewing on Dallas. Dennis is also recast, this time he’s played by…

I love families well not all and no family is perfect like mine but I know I already wanted like two kids with my girlfriend in the future when we get married but this movie makes me want them even more also I know that she won’t just walk away from me when we have discussions about it.

Can’t believe they had to recast half of the lead cast that dipped for the sequel 😭
