A +64 is passed to One Hit Wonder (Alastair Dragovich), within a red envelope. It asks one question;
"Care to rock?"

[Main Action]
[Will edit everything in later]

©,surprisingly calm for what just happened, raises a single "hand". He points at the King with uncharacteristic force, and asks a simple question.
"What protagonist, in this situation, would not have their theme play?"
And it's true. Already the first few notes of Masked Dedede echo out through the stadium, signifying something foreboding...

...Until © snapped its fingers, and every © alive acquires an instrument. There is a blissful moment of silence, and then...
They all PLAY THEIR HEARTS OUT, LETTING ALL THE PENT UP EMOTIONS ESCALE IN A TIDAL WAVE OF SOUND TO DROWN OUT ANY HOPE HE HAS OF GETTING A SECOND PHASE. ALL OF THE HATRED TOWARDS ASPERA AND HIS MEN, ALL OF THE SELF-LOATHING FOR FAILING TO PROTECT THEM, THE TRAUMA, THE HEARTACHE. IT IS ALL UNLEASHED IN ONE CACOPHONY OF GRIEF AND RAGE, TO DROWN THE KING IN WHAT HE MADE.

[ENTITY COMMANDS]
EVERY © ON THE PREMISES IS EXPECTED TO BE JAMMING THE HELL OUT.

Fuelweaver continues making more Woven Shadows. The currently alive ones, if possible, swarm Budge to heal them up.
Every Entity incapable of JAMMING THE HELL OUT stores in Vessel ©.
THE ROD keeps fishing up that Shadow Pawn.

Cleric © I know the deity you gain your power from for some reason doesn't let you heal other guys but could you please politely ask said deity if they'd be willing to change that, because doing so boosts your odds of survival, and by extension the people you can save. Oh and if they ask why tell them I'm the one curious but I don't like my buddies dying, including you. Even if you're just a bunch of leaves, you have the right to live.

If this nonsense somehow works Cleric © patches up Budge. Otherwise, in the far more likely case they get told no/nothing at all, they do nothing to avoid any divine punishment, or store in Vessel © if allowed.

<![if !ie]> A gaze is cast upon the numerous casualties of recent happenings.

Whatever thought is formed behind this observation remains shrouded.

RIP IN OOF:

Welp, there goes Snawful Card Dealer. rip my mans. Truly a respectable figure in all this.

Oh and I guess rip in piss A Faker too.

Continued Dedede Chat:

"Ah, so it was the big angry deity guy that almost got ya. Can't imagine having a hard time imagining that kinda scuffle happening between ye folks during pre-recruited-by-Aspera times."

"Any special thoughts on you now basically being stronger than the guy/being more troublesome to us than he was?"

"Oh, and since I think this funny scuffle's just about close to ending I think, wanna also talk about what you think of your cohorts? I know you just basically called P03 a 'stinkin bucket of manure-ridden bolts whose hypothetical mother would rather have her diary full of embarrassing middle-school stories and potentially concerning government secrets be found than be discovered providing a cent of allowance to the guy', but what do you think about the other folks?"

[CHARGE]

<![if !ie]> +128 from this totally normal text <![endif]>

Hmm... eh, seems safe enough. Time to store it in a potentially flammable compartment of the stall.

[10/10] using now

[166/500]
+12 to © in the form of A. (+12 to Crimtane Shovel)
+16 to Dan D. Daniels in the form of some adoption papers. Whose adoption papers, you ask? shrug (+16 to Sylveone46)
+4 to Mischief in the form of a fungal infection. (+4 to DreadKnight22)

Welp. The stall's on fire now. Doesn't exactly stop business though. 32 flaming +1's for +1's. (+16 to Banana_The_Second) (+16 preemptively tossed towards Robot # 207, will register the +16 I get from this in my next post)

[ACTION]

The enigmatic ambience of the End influences this action...

I bring out an entire hourglass, sand and all, and then just flatten it all into a task drive shape, including the sand of which none of 'em spill out. There will come a day where my process of making task drives won't involve just outright squishing them I swear.

Anyways, got an Hourglass Drive up and running here. This one advances any chosen ability cooldown relative to allocated RAM.

[10 CHARGE USAGE]

Just a quick 10 charge tossed to The Program's RAM count, increasing it to 750,000 just so it can be neat when put next to that Chess Drive's 250,000 RAM cost.

[ENTITIES]

THE FALLEN MOTHPIRES CIRCLE AROUND KING DEDEDE'S EXHAUSTED FORM, KICKING HIM DOWN LIKE SCHOOL BULLIES HAPPENING UPON AN UNFORTUNATE KID.

A Puppy and an Animated Bespectacled Mannequin smack King Dedede yet again.

The Bingus Bungus Mecha Mark II! unleashes a full blitz onto King Dedede.

<![if !ie]> The Idea dances in tandem with the Black Cloud's whims and swirls, each of the six carvings done unto Dedede serving as ritualistic conductors for the lightning bolts to come. <![endif]>

Program RAM Allocation:
<Chess Drive> 250,000 RAM into pushing the Shadow Pawn upwards
<Hourglass Drive> 500,000 RAM into advancing Heather's Total Immersion
<Empty Task Drive Slot> N/A

...

The Shadow Pawn admits that this truly do be the Dark Souls of moving as it continues moving on up.

Hourglass Drive implemented! RAM increased!

+64 to Banana_The_Second (Payment for services rendered)

- - - - - - - - -

[ ACTION - FIGHTING ]

"Hah! Yes! Fight back for once! Make me work for it! Make me want it, Dedede!!"

Tazz is genuinely shaking in excitement at Dedede's dogged resistance. Actually-they're shaking so hard that bits of them are flying off...

... And turning into more of Tazz in seconds. Dedede very, very suddenly finds themselves facing down a giant golden horde of self-replicating Pikachu(?) that quickly barrel down upon him in a horde. The Sacred Black Hammer may knock many aside, but any impact doesn't harm even one so much as cause even more exponential replication in every single direction regardless of momentum-including right at Dedede, burying him in Tazz as the mob...

Honestly just tries to beat the tar out of him the classic way-with their very, very plentiful fists and inexplicable strength.

[ ENTITY ]

"... Uh." Heather, after several seconds, just jolts a blast of electricity directly into the horde, conducting around the invincible Tazz and hitting Dedede through the mass. Twice-Heather doesn't seem to realize she's suddenly double-time on speed.

Pizzaface throws a gigantic television at Dedede, the mass somehow parting just enough to let Dedede take a welcome to prime time.

You bring down King Dedede with sheer numbers! It's super effective! You deal 1,200,000 damage! You gain 600,000 STAB!

Sans Elimination Squad:

Turret Blocks

Independent:
Remaining Combat units
Support units

The Mech walks off to Salvage some blocks, after it re-equips all the weapons that it dropped.
It picks up any block it can grab, Reinforcements are required.

[Spoil of War]
The Heart boards the Spider Tank

[Action]
The Knight picks up the Pale Sword, he grips in two hands and walks up to Dedede, then he Speaks:
"Get Up"
he crouches
"I need to have an Honorable Duel with you, and nothing is going to stop me"
He grabs the King and makes him stand, the king has enough energy for this, though probably not enough for a full skirmish.

The Spider Tank walks up, and The Knight rides it as his steed.
They Charge forward at Dedede, with the Knight swinging his blade as they pass by, the tank also fires machine guns when it passes close to Dedede, another 2 of these jousts happen, cutting into Dedede and rattling his weapons from his need to block the charge.

Then the spider throws its rider, and shoots him with the cannon, this launches the Knight even higher, he then spins around and points his sword down as he falls.

While the Knight dives, the spider tank jumps towards Dedede and uses its front legs to beat him up, slamming him into the ground and breaking his guard so it can throw him around, then it deploys its front spike teeth to stab Dedede and pin him, thus The Knight comes down and impales the king with his Pale Blade.

This isn't the end of the duel though, The Knight kicks Dedede off of his sword, he then Moves so fast that it looks like he teleported to the king, he swings his sword at the king, then he moves to hit him from another angle, and another and another and another and then he's a blur, moving so fast and attacking from so many different angles that the momentum is cancelled out, throwing the king around inside a specific area, Finally he briefly stops and prepares a heavier attack.

He dashes at the king and swings, The Pale Blade glows a bright Blue just before it hits Dedede and the king is thrown clear across the ring.

This marks the end of the Duel, he sheathes his sword and speaks:
"Thus, I am no longer needed here, I have done my Duty and found the Honor I was looking for"
The Knight disassembles into a pile of Blocks, the Mech walks over and grabs everything; The Core Block, The Pale Blade, and the other regular blocks

[Unit Creation]
The Mech uses the blocks it salvaged and the blocks from The Knight to Reinforce its Army.

[Action]

I don't appreciate the whole massacre going on, but I don't appreciate my mod being uninstalled so how about we use something a protagonist can't resist.

Cutscene Start

I brutally pummel King Dedede without holding back, scorching him with the flames of myself and completely humiliating him, and the best part of it all?

It's a cutscene, you can't avoid attacks in a cutscene unless fate decides, and fate decides that you don't dodge this one.

I finish the pummeling and the cutscene via uppercutting King Dedede with fire.

Cutscene End

[Action, Part 2]

Also I kindly use the horn on the Variable Entity with permission from its owner.

[Charge]

[576/512] (Hopefully the calculations are right)

Budge is upgraded further, receiving the following 3 things...

1. More HP on all bars.
2. Added defense stat (weakens the impact of attacks obviously).
3. Regeneration is now stronger.

[Entities]

And then it heals itself.

You attack under cover of a cutscene, dealing 1,000,000 damage to King Dedede!

You use the Exalted God's Horn, sacrificing the Variable Entity and dealing an additional 1,150,000 damage!

Budge upgraded! Large enough that he has Damage Reduction instead of Armor.

This is unlike Dedede, who will die before he recovers from his foolish attack. However, it was still better to remove the Variable Entity temporarily, because Tzaoray also existed and was as dangerous as Dedede and also in some ways more dangerous than Dedede. This was why HE WHO THE VARIABLE ENTITY OWES ITS LIFE TO gave Ian permission to use the Horn on it this round, to get Ian to use the horn on it this round, which HE WHO GAVE IAN PERMISSION TO USE THE HORN ON THE VARIABLE ENTITY THIS ROUND successfully made happen. INDIVIDUAL SO GOOD AT MANIPULATION HE LEARNED HOW TO FAKE TEARS SO HE COULD HANDICAP HIMSELF TO NOT TALKING turned to DefJOE. <![endif]> <![if !ie]>
"I have a brilliant idea for a theft."
<![endif]> <![if !ie]> FELLOW VAGUELY INTERESTED IN A TANK AND BOBBY GANT said. DefJOE did not say anything back. DefJOE only raised an eyebrow, as if in confusion or doubt, which he did silently, without talking. If he talked, he would have been saying something back. <![endif]> <![if !ie]>
"This should not be a surprise, because I am brilliant."
<![endif]> <![if !ie]> replied A FELLOW WHO READERS OF CHAPTER 26 CLASSIFIED AS A SOCIOPATH to the nonverbal communication, which did not involve words and which MAN WHO ACTUALLY JUST WANTED TO USE THE TANK TO KILL PEOPLE had understood perfectly. <![endif]>
<![if !ie]> "ACTUALLY, I JUST MEANT 'GO ON'. LIKE, YOU HAVING A GOOD IDEA ISN'T SURPRISING." <![endif]>

<![if !ie]> "The idea is to steal something from an Adventurer." <![endif]> <![if !ie]> said MAN WHO GOT BORED BECAUSE A TANK WAS FULL OF FLOWERS AND NOT WEAPONRY. <![endif]> <![if !ie]> "This Adventurer is not an active ally. They are also not Tzaoray. Tzaoray does not have anything good to steal right now. Also, stealing from an active ally could cause problems." <![endif]> <![if !ie]> MAN WHO HAD ONLY PRETENDED TO THINK ABOUT BEING SAD OR LONELY explained wisely. DefJOE listened intently. <![endif]> <![if !ie]> "The player in question is a wolf. They are also a dragon. They have skin. Their skin is the valuable thing." <![endif]>
<![if !ie]> "MATE. MAN. BUDDY. FRIENDO. LOOK, IT'S VALUABLE ALRIGHT. BUT THAT'S AN ADVENTURER AUGMENTATION AND ADVENTURERS ARE UHHH KINDA IMMORTAL." <![endif]>
<![if !ie]> FELLOW WHO SUPPOSED IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO HIDE HIS TRUE THOUGHTS smirked. <![endif]> <![if !ie]> "Yes. Players are immortal. Also, Augmentations are probably hard to destroy or take. I do not think that has ever happened." <![endif]> <![if !ie]> DUDE WHO HID HIS TRUE THOUGHTS BC PSYCHIC MANIPULATOR paused, but continued before DefJOE could reply, <![endif]> <![if !ie]> "You are a MASTER THIEF, though. You should be able to do it if you are smart enough. Maybe it will not last for very long, but it will be a good thing even if you can only steal it for one round. I also already made sure the Variable Entity will be fine this round and there is no need to steal anything else.". <![endif]>
<![if !ie]> "WELL, I'LL GIVE IT A SHOT, BUT REMEMBER, I'M STILL LEARNING THE TRADE. EVEN FISH TAKE TIME TO MASTER SWIMMING IN WATER!" <![endif]>

OF COURSE, DEFJOE DOES HAVE THE ADVANTAGE OF AUDACITY! NOBODY GUARDS WHAT THEY DON'T THINK'LL BE STOLEN, NOT TO MENTION STEALING RIDICULOUS THINGS IS EXTREMELY ON-BRAND FOR A MASTER THIEF. LIKE GODMODDER HP POINTS AND PLANETS.
NOW, THIS FIRST WAY TO STEAL SOMEONE'S SKIN IS TO RIP IT OFF THEM. DEFJOE WILL GIVE IT A SHOT, BUT UNFORTUNATELY, ORYX IS NOT AROUND, SO HE CAN'T STEAL VULNERABIZING POWERS. SO, IT PROBABLY WON'T WORK... WORK. AT LEAST NOT WITHOUT GETTING CREATIVE! FOR INSTANCE, WHAT IF DEFJOE STEALS THE SKIN AND THE PAIN OR INJURY OF LOSING ALL YOUR SKIN? THEN IT'S NOT DAMAGE, RIGHT? OR HE COULD TRY STEALING THE SKIN'S BENEFITS WITHOUT STEALING THE SKIN ITSELF.
THAT SAID, ALL THAT COULD EASILY BE STOPPED BY ADVENTURER STATUS...
BUT CAN THIS??? IF OUR ILLUSTRIOUS WOLF ENTERED THE UBERDUNGEON, DEFJOE CAN JUST GO/SEND A PIZZA/STEAL AWAY BACK DOWN TO THE SPAMTON FLOOR, AND PICK UP THE SKIN THERE! THE DARK FOUNTAIN DIDN'T TAKE PRISONERS, BUT THE DRAGON WAS TOO NOT-DOING-ANYTHING TO PICK THE SKIN BACK UP, MHMHM! IF THAT PLACE DOESN'T EXIST, NO WORRIES- HE'LL STEAL A STEAL ATTEMPT FROM HIMSELF, STEAL A TIMER FROM A TIME BOMB, MASH THEM TOGETHER, AND GIVE THEM TO HIS PAST SELF! HOW'LL HE GIVE IT TO HIS PAST SELF? IREM! HE'LL GO TO IREM. BUT HE CAN'T? WELL, SORT OF. HE CAN'T GO TO, LIKE, IREM. BUT HE CAN SET OUT ON A JOURNEY TO IREM AND THEN HE'LL EVENTUALLY BE REPELLED ALONG THE WAY TO IREM BUT NOT INSTANTLY, BECAUSE THE POINT HE'LL EVENTUALLY GO TO BUT ISN'T CURRENTLY PLANNING ON GOING TO IS MORE THAN 2 PLANK TIME IN THE FUTURE. BUT PAST ASPERA AND PAST GUY WHO DEFJOE SHALL USE AS A SURROGATE FOR HIMSELF HERE WILL PASSED THROUGH THAT TIME FOR AN INFINITESIMAL PERIOD, WHICH MIGHT NOT BE ENOUGH FOR A THEFT, BUT IS ENOUGH FOR A DONATION! THEN THE THEFT WILL HAVE GONE OFF RIGHT AFTER THE SPAMTON FIGHT ENDS, IF THIS ENDS UP BEING THE PLAN, AND DEFJOE WILL PULL THE SKIN OUT OF HIS 30TH INFINITESIMAL TIME-TRAVEL DEPARADOXISING POCKET.

ANYWAY THOSE ARE ALL COOL IDEAS AND STUFF BUT THEY'RE NOT THE TOP TIER BEST IDEA FINAL BACKUP, WHICH IS TO SAY, THE IDEA DEFJOE ASSIGNS LIKE 50% MORE SUCCESS ODDS PROPORTIONALLY TO THE OTHERS AND INDEPENDENT OF ATTEMPT ORDER. THAT PLAN IS TO STEAL BY NOT STEALING! THE WOLF CAN KEEP THE SKIN THEY'RE TOO INACTIVE FOR DEFJOE TO CARE, HE'LL JUST... USE IT! HE STEALS HIS OWN TANGIBILITY AND SKIN, TRANSFORMS INTO A PERFECT COPY OF THE DRAGONWOLF-PROBABLY-NOT-ACTUALLY-A-DRAGON-OR-WOLF NYIR(EXCEPT WITHOUT SKIN. AND IN A WAY THAT'LL PERSIST AFTER SWITCHING CHARACTERS.), STANDS IN EXACTLY THE SAME POSITION AS THEM (INTANGIBLY), AND REGAINS HIS OWN TANGIBILITY! THIS TELEFRAG CAN'T HURT EITHER OF THEM, BEING ADVENTURERS AND ALL (AND IF IT DOES DEFJOE POCKETS THE DAMAGE), AND NOW THE HIGH-CONDUCTIVITY SKIN IS JUST AS MUCH HIS SKIN AS IT IS NYIR'S! PHYSICALLY, ANYWAY. PROOOBBABLY NOT LEGALLY. BUT WHO CARES ABOUT LAWS YOU DIDN'T IMPLICITLY OR EXPLICITLY CONSENT TO AND ALSO WOULDN'T CONSENT TO? SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING A BLUE FIRE ELEMENTAL IN SPIKY ARMOR WOULD DO. ANYWAY, YOU MIGHT THINK THIS EXACT POSE WOULD INCONVENIENCE DEFJOE, BUT SEEING AS THE SKIN IS AROUND HIM, AND HE'S INSIDE THE PREVIOUS BEARER, HE CAN JUST... WALK AROUND, AND THE BODY WILL BE DRAGGED WITH HIM. LIKE ANY OTHER SOLID OBJECT MOVES ITS OTHER PARTS! IT'S LIKE FRICTION TO THE 1.26TH POWER! (NOT SQUARED. THAT WOULD BE IF DEFJOE AND NYIR WERE HYPERCUBES. INCIDENTALLY TELEFRAGGING PROBABLY SHOULDN'T LAUNCH PEPOPLE, UNLESS THE PARTS UNDERGO NUCLEAR FUSION. DON'T WORRY, DEFJOE STOLE ALL THE NUCLEAR REACTIONS BEFORE THEY COULD START AND SO ON AND SO FORTH.).

(ANOTHER POSSIBLE PROBLEM IS THIS DRAGON OF A WOLF MIGHT NOT, UH, BE ANYWHERE NEARBY. BUT WORRY NOT, THERE IS A SOLUTION! NOW, THE LAST TIME WE EXPLICITLY KNOW WHERE THE DRAGON WOLF WAS IS BEFORE ENTERING THE UBERDUNGEON. YOU MIGHT THINK DEFJOE HAS NO WAY TO ACCESS IT, SEEING AS HE HADN'T USED ANY PIZZAS IN ATTACKS AT THAT POINT AND ALL ENTITIES DIE THE DEATH (AND THE CHEESE PIZZA, WHO ASPERA ORDERED (AND KNIGHTED, WHATEVER THAT MEANS), DIED AND THEN CAME BACK IN LIKE, I DUNNO, A PLACE WITH NO PHYSICALITY, SO RESPAWNS ON NON-ADVENTURER PIZZAS WON'T WORK.). HOWEVER, WRONG. THE REFLECTION OF EXISTENCE HECKED OFF INTO THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE AT SOME POINT, AND IT HAD THE ABILITY TO CONSTANTLY PRODUCE PIZZAS! SURE, IT PROBABLY ISN'T IN SCOPE OR A SIDEQUEST, BUT THAT'S A MATTER OF GAME MECHANICS (PLUS THERE'S NOT MUCH REASON IT SHOULDN'T TICK IN SIDEQUESTS ANYMORE, SINCE IN THIS SYSTEM AT A 3-ROUND DOUBLING RATE IT'S IMPOSSIBLE FOR IT TO OUTPACE INFLATION), NOT FLAVOR. THE REFLECTION'S CLEARLY STILL PRODUCING PIZZAS, THEY JUST HAVE A NEGLIGIBLE AMOUNT OF DURABILITY AND POWER. THAT'S NO PROBLEM FOR DEFJOE USING THEM AS AN AVATAR! OKAY, THEY'RE ALSO NOT AVATAR PIZZAS, BUT THE PIZZA PIZZAS REPRESENTS PIZZASMCPIZZAS WHICH IS BASICALLY DEFJOE (THEY ALSO REPRESENT META KNIGHT). IT'S FINE. SO THAT'S HOW HE CAN ACCESS AREAS OUTSIDE THE UBERDUNGEON! AND HE CAN ACCESS THE UBERDUNGEON WITH THE PIZZAS IN THE UBERDUNGEON. )

(TL;DR: DEFJOE STEALS THE 'CONDUCTIVE SKIN' AUGMENTATION BY ANY ONE OF : STEALING IT (AND ALSO MAKING THIS NOT HARMFUL), STEALING THE BENEFITS OF THE AUGMENTATION, STEALING IT FROM WHEN IT WAS DROPPED ON THE SPAMTON FLOOR, OR JUST STANDING INSIDE OF THE OWNER SO HE AND THE OWNER ARE BOTH WEARING THE SKIN TO EQUAL DEGREES.)

The committer of a second critical blunder attempts to regain his Narrative Influence! The personage who isn't as smart as he thinks he is instead finds himself at the brink of death - or at least what qualifies as such a brink for him: no longer having an arbitrary amount of HP.

You attempt to steal Niyr's high-conductivity skin! You discover, however, that wherever Niyr is, he's not somewhere you have access to. Maybe give the Reflection of Existence a few more years to populate the thousand universes with pizzas.

You upgrade the Repair Mechs and the Medium Block Factory! The remainder of your Charge (a total of 54 Charge) is refunded due to the Variable Entity being dead and the other option not being feasible.

Pol flies by Heather, wings taking hold of the Crystal Rose granted to Heather.
"...let's see if I can make this better..."

Pol, infusing some more magic into it, makes it bigger and more...powerful, hopefully giving Heather's Boon of the Crystal Gardens a hefty power boost. Maybe it can block the next two attacks coming her way.

[192 / 192]: "WAIT HOLD ON THAT'S THE WRONG ROBOT-"
"UGH. COME ON!"

"...Oh. Uh. V2! You seem to have forgotten these things."
Pol then teleports by V2, handing him a rocket launcher (!?).
"That would be the Cannonball Rocket Launcher. Apparently V1 managed to make the cannonballs it can fire explode when shot. I did some things to make it do something more..interesting..."
"See what you can do with it, eh?"

The rocket launcher should give V2 a decent normal attack (that doesn't need a charge) as well, with a less significant, perhaps 3 turn ability of a Cannon Shot as well, which allows the rocket launcher to shoot out and deal a bit more damage. The main thing is that it ends up spawning a Cannonball with HP that does literally nothing. However, when "killed" it explodes out...inflicting a random debuff on whatever V2 targeted last.

+16 as a bomb to claim this (Robot # 207).

+16 to claim half the stock with ignition oil to make the fire worse. You're welcome. (Krill13)

[TYPOGRAPHY]:
A relatively simple DEE is summoned. Like, the Waddle Dee. It just kinda does random tasks as a facsimile of Dedede's basic workers. Sort of like a crewmate.

[ENTITY COMMAND]:
DEE sets to work on making some sticky glue, eyeing the Sans.

SOUL of the GUARDIAN applies Morale to Heather, while the rest of the entities remaining begin unloading their stuff into Vessel ©.

[ACTION]: No song.

A simple white line is drawn through Dedede.

The line expands, exploding outwards, as the sword slash sets off, a strange energy expanding from inside, eating through Dedede.
With a simple fluorish, Pol turns around, sword pointed at Dedede.

In a blink, millions on millions of slices barrage him from every which way, cutting through him, before they solidify as lines, binding him.
Pol draws their sword up, teleporting above Dedede, sword raised, void eyes glaring at him right in the eye.

Pol then brings it down, Dedede's will to fight against the end flaring, presumably parrying the final overhead strike, a downwards blow with the power of a star.

But that wasn't the main point of the strike. It was a distraction. For the real striking blow.

Pol's first slash, the first white line, emanates out as it absorbs.
"...Liht, my dear friend, absorbs all phenomena. Magic. Psychic energy. Ki."
"Under normal circ*mstances, it could never hope to absorb the endless power a Protagonist has."
"But the interesting thing is, it is not inherited in you."

The slices resonate, powering up, as they bite into Dedede's flesh, sawing their way in, or lasering, or burning, feeding off his Importance, his Plot Armour, the works.

Pol grabs Dedede's Black Hammer while he's still trapped.
"As it was given to you, it can be taken from you."
Pol then rips it out of Dedede's hand, every single Liht slash tearing away every last bit of Protagonistic power Dedede had, the slashes breaking him.

No song. No dance. Just cuts.

Boon of Crystal Gardens upgraded! V2 upgraded! DEE summoned!

You cut through King Dedede! You deal 950,000 damage! You also try to take the Sacred Black Hammer, but the moment you take your eyes off of it, it reappears in King Dedede's hand!

King Dedede: The weapon that slays the villain often has the ability to return to its wielder's hand at will.
King Dedede: What kind of hero would I be if I could lose my most important weapon?

In my efforts to rewrite the foundations of reality, I have stumbled upon an entity known as the "Chaos Butterfly." According to what I've figured out, the Chaos Butterfly was what was known as a Vengeance - a force of destruction tailor-made by one of the first Godmodders to destroy one of the original Adventurers (an Ancestor, as the records call him) for the crime of opposing him.

Since this world is beginning with the first Godmodding War, rather than having a preceding one, I can't have the Chaos Butterfly keep existing in its current form, even with an altered history. But the ideas there have merit, as does the concept of Vengeances more generally. Perhaps, if I instead let the Butterfly summon Vengeances itself, toned down to be less dangerous...?

Yes, I think that would work. I might even be able to include Curses in its power set, since it's carrying over much from that line of reality already. But it needs to arrive in the world in a natural way, and I'd rather it make its first appearance after the Update Terminals start running, rather than already existing beforehand. I'll let it exist in Otherside for now. It'll slip into reality the moment it gets a chance, so I can keep my hands off after the War begins, as intended.

Due to an inexplicable stroke of (un)luck, all of the dust and drink mix swirls into that one sip, causing the Artificer Degree Two to choke.
Tom Sawyer gives them CPR (to heal them up a lot.)

Firstly, its Mana production skyrockets, with 324 Charge being put into it, which should lead to a total of 128 Mana per turn.
Secondly, it is given Painful Healing, which should only cost 5 Charge.
Thirdly, 60 Charge will be put into upgrading each Attack to 50,000.
Finally, the remaining 75 Charge will be split evenly between each healthbar.

As the replica Genny Robotics was established, some of the surviving members imminently take over and they're doing different ways of research.

Replica Genny Robotics Director: It's nice to have the replica going in business and it's gotta be good mates.

Somehow they're finding some scrapped projects while running the facility and they're having a nice look in the guides of how to protect themselves while the real one is simply looking at the replica performing their own ways of research.

Action: I give Dedede a beatdown with my Shifterbot Tool turning into a hammer, giving some nice smacks around him before I spin around, hitting him every time before I swing my hammer upwards to send him launching in the air before I knock the king down to the ring.

The replica Genny Robotics deploys explosive drones on Dedede

The One Hit Wonder looked at the invitation. Immediately his mind racked and as the music began he nearly panicked.

His friend The Groupie- No, Melina - tossed sheet music his way. He smiled in relief at his friend always having a knack for finding information like this. Gossip, research, secrets, trivia - she seems to have a connection to finding knowledge like nothing else. It's why she was mission control for his Van Quest, after all.

The One Hit Wonder propped his guitar and strummed the strings along the neck as he power skimmed all of the notes for all of King Dedede's themes. With a nod, he now not only knew enough to keep up, he had enough to go off script properly.

One only starts mixing things up after learning the recipe and intent, after all. Slapping the stack of music sheets to the side, he began to jam.

Fire bursts from the fingertips and the royal power flows.

Unintentionally The One Hit Wonder has ended up playing the heel and countermelody to this grief and rage filled remix, but he doesn't see it as a bad thing. Not at all - his wailing leitmotifs of the King's theme only serve to give the potent melodies something to crash against, to make their pain more pronounced against Dedede's wall of loyalty and determination.

But his is a song meant to highlight the tragedy of it all, and in the end the song was never meant to be about King Dedede's triumph. As "One Hit Wonder and the ©s" play, it becomes a backdrop to the King's other battles and clashes... and the King finds himself being worn down.

The Exhaustion is crippling, and not enough on its own to put down King Dedede in his protagonist state. But everyone knows that tragedy, exhaustion, and heroes blend together way, way too well. It has a chacne of making him excessively dangerous for a brief moment, but once that has passed?

The King's fate is sealed.

120/120 - AMPLE SEATING COMPLETE!

This is enough seating to make sure anyone can attend a major venue! A funeral, a Concert - a place for weary entities and players alike to rest and recover, or to enjoy the benefits of someone's efforts.

That said... this isn't an AG entity! In spite of its AG origins, seating for a crowd doesn't discriminate! All beings are invited to partake in this! That said, AGs will automatically get the best seating when it comes to the One Hit Wonder's musical endeavors, but that's more for flavor text than actual mechanical benefits.

In the meantime and in the same vein, something else crops up! The excess received charge and natural charge buildup blend together and soon there's an 'opening soon' sign at the edges of the Ample Seating!

86/125 - REFRESHMENTS STAND

In exchange for the gig, The One Hit Wonder gives Crimtane Shovel +64 charge, finding the clout far more valuable than the payment!

In the meantime, the COOL LIGHTS shine on... SANS! The PG entity suddenly gets a bit hot under the collar, not used to being in the limelight. As for the Confidence boost, it shifts to show off Gunslinger ©! Yeehaw, look at them rock out!

The ELEVATOR RADIO distracts Dedede.... by reducing the King's theme song to mere Elevator Music after the jam session between One Hit Wonder and the ©s!

The PYROTECHNICS don't focus on the King, however. They instead focus on Sans due to... well, they're Pyrotechnics. They're supposed to make people look more impressive! It's not their fault that they are far more destructive than showy! Not that Sans, being under the bombardment, can appreciate it...

Maybe he should get different job?

You rock the world! To the sound of cheering crowds, you deal 600,000 damage to King Dedede!

The green needle downpour tears into all of the entities on the field! King Dedede is left at death's door as the Black Cloud begins stirring...

King Dedede: Heh.
King Dedede: You were all so focused on my protagonist abilities, weren't you?
King Dedede: But that hammer's not the only thing up my sleeve.
King Dedede: I may be a protagonist, but I'm still a villain. And a villain always gets away.

Black lightning strikes King Dedede, dealing 666,666 damage and reducing his HP to 0! Rather than dying, however, King Dedede's mask splits in two and he's launched in a random direction at high velocity - sending him flying straight through the hole in the wall Tazz made earlier!

That may not have killed him, but he's not coming back in time for the rest of this war. Looks like he dropped both hammers, as well as a blue Chaos Emerald. Wonder what happens when you have all seven of these? The ϕ burns off of the rocket hammer easily enough. Seems like there's a space here to attach that old cannon you've been carrying around, too. How convenient! Aspera takes 1 damage! Pizzahead heals to full HP and gains an Extra Life! The way forward is clear!

You continue to the next floor, your entities in tow and still recovering from that violent downpour. If King Dedede is to believed, Chica's Magic Rainbow resides on this floor, and is even worse to be around than The Doctor was. But when you step onto the next floor, it's... well, it's really tranquil, mostly. You feel like you've stepped into the Garden of Eden, or something like that.

At first, it seems like there aren't any walls on this floor. A closer examination reveals that they've just been painted to resemble an afternoon sky. The floor itself is covered in tall pine trees, not too densely packed together. Above the trees, a kaliedoscope of butterflies flits from tree to tree, filling the sky with a splash of colors. And, tying it all together, overhead... Chica's Magic Rainbow.

Well, you assume so, anyways. There's not exactly any other rainbows around, and this one has eyes and a smiling mouth. Even discounting that, a glowing black χ decorates one of the rainbow's clouds. That's an HP point, no mistake about it.

Chica's Magic Rainbow: Welcome to my happy rainbow land!

Huh. Maybe that isn't Chica's Magic Rainbow. She seems a bit too nice to be -

Chica's Magic Rainbow: ...you stupid dumb idiot noobs!

...I stand corrected.

Chica's Magic Rainbow: You scrubs finally made it through all the wealkings on the lower floors, huh?
Chica's Magic Rainbow: What took you so long? I got so bored I was actually considering re-watching Free Birds!
Chica's
Magic Rainbow: But that just means you're just in time! In about three minutes, I'll be done charging my rainbow cannon.

You don't know why, but the moment she says "rainbow cannon," a horrible chill goes through you...

Chica's Magic Rainbow: Yeah, even you cheaters don't stand a chance against my fully charged rainbow cannon.
Chica's Magic Rainbow: So why don't you just sit back and prepare to get...

Chica's Magic Rainbow trails off as one of the butterflies gets close enough to land on her.

Chica's Magic Rainbow: Uh, helloooooo? What are you doing, you stupid butterfly?
Chica's Magic Rainbow: I made it very clear that all idiot butterflies must stay ten feet away at all -

Three things then happen in rapid succession.

First, Chica's Magic Rainbow lets out a bloodcurdling scream as she spontaneously disintegrates into the air.

Second, the butterfly begins glowing.

Third, within your midst, Dan D. Daniels explodes and everything goes white.

When your eyes adjust to the sudden brightness, the floor has changed. The trees are ablaze, as is much of the grass. Most of your party is still accounted for, but you suspect you're never going to see Dan D. Daniels again. And as you look up, the sky is no longer populated by a simple butterfly.

No, the butterfly overhead is anything but simple.

Aspera [GM]: 2/50 HP, Godmodder

Itinerary:

AG: Destroy Aspera!
AG: Defeat the Chaos Morpho!

N: Seek out your personal objectives.
N: Defeat or assist the Chaos Morpho!

PG: Protect Aspera!
PG: Defeat the Chaos Morpho!

Battlefield:

CHAOS REIGNS: Caused by the presence of the Chaos Morpho. The Chaos Morpho ignores bodyguarding, Dodge, Armor, and Damage Reduction. The Chaos Morpho's entities do not.
High Tide: You're standing in about a foot of water. Or maybe not? It seems like this is only relevant if you choose it to be. Electricity-based attacks will deal splash damage, not always (but about half the time) to your benefit. You can also use the high tide in your attacks for extra creativity, if done well. Fleeting.
<![if !ie]> Black Cloud <![endif]>: A black cloud covers the arena. At the end of each turn, the current boss entity is struck by a bolt of lightning that deals 666,666 damage. If this weather is dispelled, The Idea will lose all of its attack sets. (Killing The Idea does not dispel this.)

Morale: If Morale is equal to the affected entity's Attack and Healing combined, that entity immediately acts again after acting (and advances its cooldowns), and that much Morale is lost. Can trigger multiple times in one turn. Entities with special abilities may need more Morale, applied at my discretion.

Decay: Deals damage at the end of each turn until it's dispelled or the afflicted entity dies. Can be dispelled by actions.
Stun: If Stun is equal to the afflicted entity's current HP, all Stun is removed and that entity does not act or reduce cooldowns this turn.
Bleed: Deals damage at the end of each turn. If Bleeding is not applied on a given turn to the afflicted entity, it is dispelled entirely after the entity takes damage.
Fear: The afflicted entity deals reduced damage each turn equal to total Fear. If the entity has more than one attack, this effect still only applies once, although it can apply to more than one attack if it is higher than the damage dealt by one of the attacks.
Distraction: The afflicted entity deals reduced damage each turn equal to total Distraction. If Distraction is not applied on a given turn to the afflicted entity, it is dispelled entirely after the entity attacks.
Insanity: Each turn, the entity has a random chance, based on the total amount of Insanity and that entity's Attack, to attack an allied entity instead of its intended target.

Entities:

Chaos Morpho

[<0>]: HP: 50,000,000/50,000,000, ACCURSED, VENGEFUL, INESCAPABLE

ACCURSED: The Chaos Morpho has inflicted twelve Adventurers with Curses, which interfere with those Adventurers' Destinies, and may cause them to act strangely. Curses can be dispelled by destroying their physical representations on the Chaos Morpho's zodiac. In addition, all Adventurers inflicted with a Curse cannot attack any Curses other than their own.
VENGEFUL: Each turn, the Chaos Morpho will spawn a Vengeance, an entity that seeks to work against the abilities of a specific Adventurer.
INESCAPABLE: Despite not having an HP point to seal the floor with, the Chaos Morpho is preventing any attempts to leave the room. Additionally, the Chaos Morpho counts as a boss.

WARNING: These are not the Chaos Morpho's only abilities.

Spoils of War:
Misery/The Doctor:

Spur

. Owner: Tom Sawyer [AG]. A strange gun with a star scratched into the stock. Each turn, this item passively accumulates Charge. When fired, it expends all of its Charge, dealing a varying amount of damage per Charge. At 1 Charge, it deals 25,000 damage per Charge; at 2-3 Charge, 50,000; at 4-6 Charge, 75,000; and at 7+ Charge, 100,000. Charge: 6, Cooldown: NO COOLDOWN
The Teletubbies: Tubby Custard Machine. Owner: Pol and Kirby [AG]. A whimsical machine with two large spires for storing Tubby Custard. Once every 4 turns, it can be used to heal 5,000 HP to any entity. This healing can bring entities over their max HP, if they're not already above their max HP. Additionally, the Tubby Custard Key may be used one time to revive any entity that died the preceding turn, with full HP. THE TUBBY CUSTARD KEY MAY ONLY BE USED ONCE THROUGH THE ENTIRE GAME. Cooldown: IIII. Tubby Custard Key: Available
Fortegreen Crewmate: Emergency Meeting Button. Owner: JOE Cake OF THE MOTHPIRE [AG]. A red button that can be used to assemble everyone in the area. Once every 5 turns, it can be used to summon a Crewmate, who the owner will be able to direct to various tasks. Its effectiveness will vary. Cooldown: IIIII
Kabula/King Dedede (second fight): King Dedede's Rocket Hammer. Owner: Tazz [AG]. A large hammer that fires rockets. More useful for rocket-firing than actually bashing things, on account of being very hard to hold. How did Dedede ever manage it? Once every 3 turns, it can be used to deal 100,000 damage to five different entities. For the purposes of this Spoil, Crowd entities are counted as a single entity. Cooldown: III
Cyber End*r Dr*gon: Cyber Dr*gon Egg. Owner: Niyr [PG]. Somehow, turning the End*r Dr*gon into a technological terror passed the property on to this egg. The egg appears to have no function, but there is a green button on the back. The longer you look at it, the brighter it gets. You get the feeling you can only press this button once... Green Button: Unavailable
King Dedede (first fight)/Norm: Norm's Heart. Owner: Robot #207 [AG]. The squirrel that's in charge of providing power for Norm. Never tires. Norm's Heart may be given to an entity, granting it either an additional 50,000 Attack or doubled Attack, whichever is the larger bonus, until it dies, at which point Norm's Heart will become available again. Status: Unavailable
Shaggy: The Sandwich Of Oblivion. Owner: [Billions Of Names At Once] [N]. A sandwich of unfathomable power, made of the finest ingredients one can find in the thousand universes. This sandwich may be fed to an NPC a total of three times across the entire game, with an indeterminate and plot-linked cooldown. Eating the sandwich will cause a major plot disturbance or critical interference. This will not always work out in the favor of the owner. Status: Available, uses left: 1
The Spamtanic/Spamton NEO: Pipis Cannon. Owner: None [AG]. An arm cannon, ripped off of Spamton NEO. It contains an invasive species of detonating freshwater clam. EACH TURN, the Pipis Cannon may be fired at a target of your choice. A pipis will appear on the battlefield with 20,000 HP, and you may use actions to protect it from attacks. The turn after it is summoned, it will detonate, dealing 50,000 damage to its target. If the target dies, the pipis will instead change its target and detonate on the next turn after that. Cooldown: NO COOLDOWN
Overcharged Mob Spawner/Oryx the Exalted God: Exalted God's Horn. Owner: Ian [AG]. Upgrade of the Debug Stick. A golden horn, liberated from Oryx's helmet. Contains a fragment of Oryx's Curse. Once every three turns, it can be used on an entity you control, or someone else's entity with permission, to kill it, dealing its max HP as damage to a target of your choice. At the end of the turn, that entity is then revived, but at 1 HP. Cooldown: III
Helkite Overlord: Shotgun. Owner: Fasto [AG]. A shotgun made of distressingly black metal and distressingly white wood. It seems to have been passed down through many owners. The initials "DK," "GB∞," and "JQA" are carved into the stock. There is only one bullet inside. When fired, this shotgun will instantly kill any one target of your choice. With the exception of Godmodders and other Adventurers, this can target anything on the battlefield and it will not fail. It may only be used once. You could use it more if you found more ammo. You will not find more ammo. Status: Empty
THE LORDE/The Evil Wizard: UNDEFINED BLADE. Owner: ©. A sword that seems to be incapable of deciding what kind of sword it wants to be. Once every four turns, it can be used to summon three random entities from the first few chapters of the game. Some entities, like bosses, cannot be summoned by this. Cooldown: IIII
Fawful & Midbus/Overtuned Mob Spawner: The First Spawn Egg. Owner: Toby [AG]. A spawn egg. Unlimited potential rests within. Once every three turns, it can be used to spawn four entities of your choosing from a limited selection of Vindicator, Evoker, Blaze, Piglin, or Pillager. Cooldown: III
P03: Leshy's Camera. Owner: None [AG]. An old-looking camera with a roll of film in it. Once every two turns, it can be used to kill an entity with 10,000 (current) HP or less and convert them to an item in your inventory. This item can be used later for damage or healing based on the entity's stats. Cooldown: II
Ink Sans: Inkbrush. Owner: tzaoray [PG]. A paintbrush covered in various colors of ink. Once every four turns, it can be used to summon a copy of Sans with 10,000 HP, 5,000 Attack, 75% Dodge, and Dodge Exhaustion. Cooldown: IIII

Permanent Upgrades:
Chapter 1: The Great K.A.T.E. A strange red bucket that contains a weather machine. What does K.A.T.E. stand for? Your guess is as good as mine! The Great K.A.T.E. provides many forms of weather information, explaining environmental effects and attack boosts given by the current area. Weather can be changed by a sufficiently creative action and/or the influences of various entities.
Chapter 2: Crossroads of Destiny. A portion of Shaggy's power, specifically dealing in one's "destiny." At an indeterminate time, the Crossroads of Destiny will appear to a player character, giving them a large number of choices for a permanent augmentation that can shake up how they play the game. (Indeterminate time means I'll offer you a crossroads whenever I think I have enough cool ideas for your character.)
Chapter 3: The Dubious Friendship of a Mirror-Entity. Spending time on the other side of the mirror seems to have made you stronger. The mirror-entity's influence? It seems likely, but you're not sure why. If an attack against a Godmodder is sufficiently creative, it has a chance to deal an additional point of damage.
Chapter 4: OLD_DATA. A block of strange code related to the foundations of reality itself, coalesced into a chunk of black material. Standing near it makes you feel more real. Powers up all players' Destinies, and makes Destiny acquisition quicker.
Trial ε: Exaltation. An inversion of Oryx's already-inverted curse, granting you power for slaying an immense foe. All players' action power is doubled, including all additive bonuses unless explicitly stated otherwise. Additionally, all players gain twice as many Charge each turn (again, including additive bonuses), and you give twice as much Charge each turn to other players. (You may give them to separate players.)
Trial Θ: Sacred Black Gun. A gun made of an unknown black material. Shots fired from it never miss, and damage the target conceptually as well as literally. Just being near it makes you feel stronger. All players' action power is doubled, including all additive bonuses unless explicitly stated otherwise. Additionally, all players gain twice as many Charge each turn (again, including additive bonuses), and you give twice as much Charge each turn to other players. (You may give them to separate players.)
Trial λ: Sacred Black Wand. A wand made of an unknown black material. It passively absorbs power from nearby allies, and protects the user from harm. All players' action power is doubled, including all additive bonuses unless explicitly stated otherwise. Additionally, all players gain twice as many Charge each turn (again, including additive bonuses), and you give twice as much Charge each turn to other players. (You may give them to separate players.)
Trial μ: Sacred Black Cog. A cog that can be inserted into any machine to make it think and run faster. All players' action power is doubled, including all additive bonuses unless explicitly stated otherwise. Additionally, all players gain twice as many Charge each turn (again, including additive bonuses), and you give twice as much Charge each turn to other players. (You may give them to separate players.)
Trial π: Time's Commendation. It turns out that if you resolve enough time loops and prevent enough paradoxes, time itself gives you a formal recognition, complete with certificate and a 10% discount at supermarkets. All players' action power is doubled, including all additive bonuses unless explicitly stated otherwise. Additionally, all players gain twice as many Charge each turn (again, including additive bonuses), and you give twice as much Charge each turn to other players. (You may give them to separate players.)
Trial Σ: Sacred Black Rod. A rod that allows its user to inhabit multiple bodies at once. As a weapon, it can be extended to any point its user can see, making it useful for attacking at long range. All players' action power is doubled, including all additive bonuses unless explicitly stated otherwise. Additionally, all players gain twice as many Charge each turn (again, including additive bonuses), and you give twice as much Charge each turn to other players. (You may give them to separate players.)
Trial ϕ: Sacred Black Hammer. A hammer that influences local reality to make things turn out in its holder's favor. In other words, it turns you into a perfect protagonist. All players' action power is doubled, including all additive bonuses unless explicitly stated otherwise. Additionally, all players gain twice as many Charge each turn (again, including additive bonuses), and you give twice as much Charge each turn to other players. (You may give them to separate players.)

Base Action Power: 1,280,000
Base Charge Count: 128
