I loved attending Metropolitan State University of Denver. It's a non traditional college, as it's a commuter campus, and three colleges share the campus. It ended up being the right environment for me, but may not be right for most people. There is no housing through the university, so most students live on their own, or at with family. This also meant there isn't a lot of campus events that are easy to attend outside of the hours you're on campus for classes. I didn't have a huge social life in college due to some of these quirks, but I was supremely happy in my program and with my education.

I really like all of the programs offered at MSU Denver. The conveniently located campus is also a huge plus for my lifestyle as an adult student who works full time. I do wish there was free or lower cost parking in the area, but since it's downtown the parking is pricey. Other than that, the school is very affordable tuition wise, especially for in state students. I am looking forward to the next few years of studying here!

It was my first semester & I enjoyed it so much! I made friends and saw other friends who were taking clases at Metro too.
I am looking forward to my next semester and during the summer I will work to save some $$ to help with my expenses, I had to ask for help from my parents to help with my rent.
