Overwatch 2's Competitive E-Sports League
The Overwatch League is Blizzard's official, organized, competitive Overwatch 2 league. The best players from across the world compete both online and in person for both cash and Overwatch League ranking points. There are 20 teams registered so far, from Seoul to London. There are a total of 21 weeks of competition and 4 tournaments in 2022.

Overwatch League: Season 5
2022 marks Season 5 of Overwatch League. This season will go for a total of 24 weeks. Season 5 began with the Kickoff Clash Qualifiers Event on Friday, May 06 and will end with the conclusion of the Playoffs Grandfinals on Saturday, November 05.

The total 2022 Overwatch League prize pool is 4 million, 210 thousand dollars. This is split across 2 Global and 2 Regional Tournaments. The largest amount on offer at any one tournament is 1 million dollars for the winner of the 2022 Playoff Grand Finals.

Countdown Cup (Ongoing)
The Overwatch League is currently in the middle of the Countdown Cup. This is a Qualifying Event for the end of year Playoffs. There are matches every Saturday and Sunday until the end of October.
There are 4 tournaments spread out across 24 weeks in Season 5 of Overwatch. 2 of these tournaments are regional, in which there is an East Bracket and Bracket. The other 2 are global tournaments, with all teams competing against each other in the same bracket.
Playoffs
The 2022 Overwatch League Countdown Cup Pre-Playoff Qualifying Tournament is currently underway, beginning on Friday, September 23 and scheduled to conclude on Sunday, October 23.
It will then be followed by the 2022 Overwatch League End of Year Playoffs. This will begin on Monday, October 31 and conclude on Saturday, November 05.

The 2022 Overwatch League Summer Showdown began qualification on Friday, August 12, concluding the grand final of the main tournament on Monday, September 12. In the West Bracket, Dallas Fuel defeated San Francisco Shock 4-0 to win the tournament. In the East Bracket, the Shanghai Dragons defeated Seoul Dynasty 4-2 in the grand final.

The 2022 Overwatch League Kickoff Clash began qualification on Friday, May 06, concluding the grand final of the main tournament on Monday, June 06. The Los Angeles Gladiators were the victors in the West Bracket, eliminating Dallas Fuel in the final, 4-0. In the East Bracket, Seoul Dynasty were the champions, defeating Philadelphia Fusion 4-0.

Earn Overwatch League Tokens
By watching Overwatch League Matches on a Battle.net linked Youtube account, you can earn 5 free OWL Tokens every hour. These can then be used to purchase exclusive cosmetics and skins in store and usually need to be purchased from the in-game store otherwise.
Every 60 Minutes (Not Continuous) Total View Time= 5 OWL Tokens
You do not need to watch for the whole hour continuously, split viewing sessions also count. Therefore, watching for 40 minutes, having a break, and then coming back and watching another 20 minutes of another match will still earn you 5 OWL Tokens.
